WOULD YOU LIKE TO LEARN HOW TO CREATE LIFE, EMOTIONAL & PHYSICAL FREEDOM USING THE CREATIVE MOVEMENT OF YOUR BODY?
It is said that 80% of human communication is non-verbal with only 20% being communicated verbally.
Knowing that, how would it feel to:
- Be more confident in expressing yourself non-verbally?
- Become an interesting, engaging and confident communicator?
- Gain a true appreciation and enjoyment of your body and all that it can do?
- No longer care about what others think about you and have the freedom to fully express yourself?
- Create the ability to feel relaxed, comfortable and confident in your life?
- Be free to use your body more: smile, laugh and move more, using it in creative and expressive ways?
- Have more fun, be more playful and share this with others?
- Look in the mirror and enjoy what you see?
- Experience a deeper level of intimacy in your relationship with yourself and others?
- Allow yourself to feel inspired to create in a variety of forms that can impact many areas of your life e.g. your artistry, career, in relationships and more?
- Experience a heightened sense of creativity and utilising it in your own, very unique way?
Freedom Through Movement is your time to begin discovering how to harness the power of non-verbal communication and more. It is time to focus on yourself and the ways in which you can discover how to create life, emotional and physical freedom using the creative movement of your body.
During this full-day workshop, I will take you through simple yet powerful immersive practices that will guide you on a journey of discovering your unique creativity.
You will use dance as a foundation and tool to explore your body, bringing your attention to each and every part, so you can learn how to become even more expressive in your life.
You will discover what stories you have to tell and how you want to tell them.
Freedom Through Movement is about creating freedom through expression. If that’s the freedom to say something you’ve never shared before, allow yourself to move in a way you never have before, then this is your chance.
It is about discovering your tools and structures leading you to even more creativity and expression than you thought possible.
Whether you’re a dancer, and I believe we all are we just move in very different ways, or you’ve never stepped foot in a dance studio before or you’re an artist in some other form or you don’t think of yourself as creative at all, then Freedom Through Movement is for you.
The workshops are a wonderfully intimate, nurturing and transformative environment with like-minded souls all connecting on this journey together. This workshop is open to all over 18 years of age.
The next workshop is on Sunday 6th October from 11 am to 5 pm and takes place at The Academy Mews Dance Studios in Camden Town. Register your place below to avoid disappointment.
If you’re unable to make the workshop on this occasion then please leave your details in the form at the bottom of this page so I can inform you as soon as the next one is scheduled.
Freedom Through Movement is your blank canvas. What will you choose to create?
Workshops are hosted in a private dance studio and limited to no more than 16 participants to allow for an intimate environment to be created with a lot of focused attention on each participant.
The workshop will allow for plenty of interaction, questions, individual and group exercises as well as time for reflection and of course dancing!
What To Bring
You will be encouraged to disconnect from all digital devices to allow you and your fellow workshop attendees to fully immerse in the activities. Please do bring a journal you love to write in and pens. If you have trouble sitting on the floor then please bring along a yoga mat, cushion, yoga block, etc.
What To Wear
Please wear clothing that you feel comfortable enough to move around and dance in (leggings, tracksuit and jogging bottoms, harem pants, t-shirts, vests, etc). Please bring an extra layer as you may need this for when you aren’t dancing to prevent your body from cooling down.
Timings & Refreshments

There are numerous restaurants, cafes and shops in the area. Please ensure you have a light lunch to enjoy and ensure you can continue the creative movement afterwards. The event will commence at 11 am end at 5 pm.

Parts of the workshop will be filmed and/or photographed to provide additional feedback and may be made available to participants after the workshop to help you continue your development.
